Greetings from the Historic Rossetter House Museum & Gardens!
We have a 1931 Model A Ford at the Museum. I'm looking for someone interested in advising us about how to care for the car and maintenance suggestions. We're not going to restore the car, but it is in good original condition and we need to keep it that way. The Museum is located at 1320 Highland Ave., Melbourne, FL 32935. If anyone is interested in providing knowledge or donations for parts/maintenance, please contact Jillian or Johny at the Museum: 321-254-9855 Thanks! |

Hi Phil, Thanks for logging on to the forum. The Souix City Cruise went away when the restaurant was sold to the Mexican Place. We do a cruise every Tuesday at Longdoggers in Palm Bay on Minton Road. Hope to see you there. I am sorry for not checking in on the forum but our latest car show took up most of my time. Hope you check back often. Rich

Hey, I was introduced to your club at an event up at the late Sioux City restaurant in Wickham/Suntree a while back. I see there's not much activity on here, but I'll post anyways. My name's Phil, and i have 2 vehicles. A 96 Cadillac Fleetwood thats my modified daily driver, and a roject car that's currently stalled, but it's a 73 Lincoln Mark IV. That's about it for now.

BTW, Mike is also modifying my engine and engine compartment. Again I am buying most of the parts on eBay and they are doing the install labor. My Buick 350 engine is getting a new paint job in black, new cam, HP lifters, Alum Intake with Edelbrock 600CFM Carb, HEI Distributor, 8.5 mm wires, new plugs, Alum. Water Pump, Chrome Valve Covers, Chrome Wire Loom and Chrome Alternator. The engine compartment is getting cleaned up by moving the battery to a stainless steel box in the trunk, replacing the firewall brake booster with a new underfloor 7" dual booster master brake assembly, 2" x 19" stainless steel radiator overflow, chrome 16" cooling fan, oil filter relocation, and all wires rerun so they are hidden. The entire engine compartment will be repainted in Black. That's it for now. It should be a sweet running street rod. Next we will be saving for paint and interior work.

Mike's Automotive did my front end upgrade. I converted to Tubular upper and lower A-arms, New Springs and Shocks, New Spindles with 11" Discs and GM Calipers, New T-rod ends, Bushings etc. I bought all the stuff on eBay and they are doing all the work to install. I was going to do it myself but after sitting on the ground for a couple of hours I figured they will have it done sooner. They quoted me 10 hours total. They do alignments on old cars.
BTW, They are located in Cocoa at 11-A Ridgeway Ave, They are behind the Onan Generator Repair Shop. Best way to get there is 1 Block north of SR 520 on US 1 take first right (St John's St.). They are on the left at the end of the road. Mike's number is 321 693-8939. He is a Street Rodder and has a 1923 T-Bucket. His mechanic and he are known throughout Brevard for their expertize in Mazda Rotary engines. There is always 2-3 in the garage. So far they have worked on my wife's VW, My Ford Van and My Chevy. I am real pleased with their service. Rich |
